.::.
*my-oh-my*
aren't they cute?
*sigh*
gonna miss they like Crrrrrrrrrrrr-azie.
.::.
yesterdae morning, at about 7am.
i received a call from Kak Sa'adiah,
my Sis-Yan's OI-mate.
she called me to ask if i was free yesterdae to relieve a nursery class.
*shucks*
you should see me grinning away.
i mean, look...
that was one call i was waitin for like months.
and, hey!!!
never did i knew that i'm supposed to conduct 3 sessions on my own.
class LOVE from 8am to 10am.
class PEACE from 10am to 12am.
an hour break.
and finally class JOY from 1pm to 3pm.
having paid a measely amount of only $24 dollars,
was not the case which made me left with sorrow.
but the fact that i wont get to meet those kids anymore.
the fact that they wont call me TEACHER AIN anymore.
*sigh*
never did i expect to fall for those kids.
*my-oh-my*
.::.
my first half an hour there, as i didnt know what to do.
what was i expected to do and so forth...
i was told by the supervisor to have a seat
and learn how to conduct the class.
the supervisor there was so friendly.
.::.
in class LOVE, there was this boy named RIZWAN.
my, was he 'hyper'.
the supervisor cum principal there,
scolded him, since he 'bullied' his classmate.
look, he's only a 3-year-old kid turnin to 4.
he cried and i was told not to 'give him face'
cause that will make him spoilt.
i was like, am i expected to do the same?
i'm not one who can 'tahan' lookin at kids who looked as though they will burst into tears sooner or later.
i'm one who will go and comfort the kid,
but *yikez* i got to do, what i got to do.
so, there i was. sitting down...
pretending he wasnt there.
*my-oh-my*
it's hard to ignore those tears.
and when it was my turn to take charge,
i was like *breathing in and out. in and out.*
stuck.
clueless.
but then...
i got a hang of it.
i sang songs with them.
dance with them.
they even taught me songs i never came across before.
.::.
"hungry lion... hungry lion...
it is big. it is big.
big... small... big... small...
playful kitten... playful kitten...
it is small. it is small.
big... small... big... small...
happy hippo... happy hippo...
it is big. it is big.
big... small... big... small...
fluffy ducklings... fluffy ducklings...
they are small. they are small.
big... small... big... small..."
.::.
*hee-hee*
guess what's the title?
'BIG AND SMALL' ler...
cute.
i read to them those HUGE HUGE thin books,
we came across when we were in primary school,
remember?
this one is entitled "ABRACADABRA".
they were really fascinated.
and finally we had PE.
i dont remember having PE in kindergarten,
let alone knowin that i have to conduct PE for these nursery kids.
hey, they are smart ok?
they know how to go to the loo themselves.
they even know how to flush,
and wash their hands with soap,
and rinse them.
they even have the initiative to dry their hands after that.
*hmmm...*
clever huh?
in class LOVE, the one i cant forget it RAIYAN.
this 'quiet' boy,
who seemed quite a loner at first.
after some time,
he kept running to me.
held my hand.
smiled and smiled and smiled.
not forgetting SYAMIR.
i just wished they wont grow to become those
*you-know-what-type* of peepz.
i didnt get to take any pictures from class LOVE.
*urgh!!!*
.::.
class PEACE.
i cant forget AMIR and ALIYAH.
amir is also another hyper kid.
(his picture... inserted above)
cute huh?
that was when we were playin with the bricks.
he kept ruinin the skyscrapers i built.
to avoid from being scolded,
he'll smile his trouble away.
i cant help it but *duh*
just scold him 'playfully'.
cute lil boy.
aliyah? that's one SINGAPORE NEXT TOP MODEL.
when i wanted to take those pics,
she posed and posed and posed.
eventually, she asked me delete the others but save the one above.
clever huh?
.::.
class JOY!!!
the most HYPER of all.
there was this uncontrollable boy,
RYAN ADRIAN.
sounded Eurasian HUH?
he's MALAY.
parents nowadays...
stylo-milo names... they gave to their children.
*sheesh*
but lemme continue...
one thing about this RYAN...
is that he love to go "UH-OH" whenever he realised he's in trouble.
i asked him, "where's your bottle?"
he replied, "UH-OH!"
i asked him, "where's your shoes?"
he replied, "UH-OH!"
when we were reading the book...
there was a part when the magician went missing.
i asked the class, "where's the magician?"
guess what he answered?
"UH-OH!"
cute-lil-boi.
ARAS is also from class JOY.
she's one girl who dont fancy losing.
when we were having PE,
she made a mistake of not picking up the bean bag.
she gave up halfway and almost cried.
she realised her group was going to lose because of her.
so, to boost her spirit,
i allowed her and the "UH-OH!" ryan to have an individual event.
she ran and even won the whole thing.
the next thing you know, she stuck her tongue out to ryan.
competitive spirit huh?
only at the age of 3?
*my-oh-my*
.::.
during my break, the teachers had this 'experience' exchangin thingy.
never did i knew that class K2 had a cookie-makin session.
learnin to bake cookies at the age of 6?
*whoa*
how come i wasn't born way later?
*ish.ish.ish*
what i heard from a teacher was that,
there was this girl who had her cookies burnt.
so, the teacher wanted to gave her the cookies that the teacher made,
as so that she wont feel disappointed.
but guess what?
even i was amazed by the girl's response...
"i dont want that one. i want the one i made!"
pride.
she had pride on her own work,
eventhough hers was not something to be proud of.
.::.
so, yesterdae... was something worth remembering.
a lesson to be learn.
experience.
exposure.
too bad it's only for a dae.
i just wish to keep my fingers crossed,
that the teached i relieved for will still have to rest on MONDAY.
as so that i could meet those kids again.
i felt so bad, when those kids bid farewell to me and said,
"TEACHER AIN!!! SEE YOU ON MONDAY!!!"
*sigh*
let me heal this wound alone.
*hee-hee*
i'll miss them.
.::.
*to anyone who's linked to those kids, let me know...
i'd love to meet them again.*
