introduction to psychology, is indeed enlightening.
assessed my personality last week; among the four profiles that was claimed to be mine, i am mostly an extrovert.
"Extroverts tend to be more naturally active, expressive, social, and interested in many things."
- they have high energy.
- they like to talk a lot.
- they often think out loud.
- they figure things out by talking about them.
- they like to be around people a lot.
- they may like to be alone part of the time, but knowing when they will be with people is very important.
- they like to be the center of attention.
- they develop ideas through discussion.
- if they have a problem, they are quick to turn to others to share it.
- they like to have a lot of friends.
- they like working in teams.
- they are expressive, outgoing, enthusiastic, and uninhibited.
- they tolerate noise and crowds.
- they are energized by action, people, and things.
- they like meeting new people, and they meet people readily.
- they are easy to get to know.
- they prefer to do lots of things at once.
- they have a single layered personality; they tend to be the same in public and in private.
mostly, they are quite me. however the tolerating noise & crowds thingy, might be a lil passé for me - i will really really really get irritated when some fellowmates whisper/talk to each other during lectures, especially during my guiliano/jerome's french lecture. :p
i do miss being excited, 'high' & being so on about doing new things. school is totally not helping; pretty much routined & getting really mundane. i do look forward to PBPN & AFP lab lessons, french role-play & psychology activities though.
funny that i did get a rush of excitement when mdm kalpana wanted us to take a blood test for our PBPN practical today - tests for glucose & cholesterol level. my total cholesterol level is 3.82mmol/L & my random blood glucose level is 4.27mmol/L. well, madam kalpana said that my statistics are good, within the ideal range; so i am happy. shall not worry too much bout the weight then, as long as i am healthy. :)
talking about healthy, i miss being very actively in sports - the rock-climbings, the kayaking, the camps & yadda-yadda. i even miss playing basketball. i miss doing things. i miss discovering. i miss the extrovert me, that i am really controlling cause i dont have the time to do everything i want, & even if i have it, i dont have the people who has the time - cause gawd-there-are-so-many-other-commitments. like my dearest hafiza, when she is free, i am not & when i am, she is not. i know you miss me dear. :P
